The service
MaxPlates acts as a checkout and fulfilment layer for group carts. You give us a cart link and delivery details; we price the cart, take a single payment and complete the order on your behalf.
Charges
The total shown before you confirm is what we charge: cart subtotal, taxes, delivery, your chosen tip and our service fee. We authorise that amount first and complete the charge only when the order is placed. Failed orders are never charged.
Your data
We keep your name, contact email, delivery address and order history so we can place and support your orders. Card details are handled by our payment processor over an encrypted connection and are not stored in your browser.
Refunds
If an order fails after payment, we refund it in full. For issues with the food or delivery itself, contact support with your order reference and we'll work it out with the restaurant or courier.
